Our Team
We believe that the only way to be creative and feel happy is personal and professional development
We are Language and Motivation
We created Language and Motivation because we believe that everyone deserves personal and professional development. The fact that we teach foreign languages quickly and effectively it’s the result of our experience and the method we use, as well as our conviction that we must pursue our dreams, like living abroad and working in the field that really interests us. We love what we do and combine our strengths to help our students learn a language with minimal effort!
In 2016, we were trained and inspired by professor Olivier Delhaye, who is the primary source of all this scientific knowledge. Since 2018 we have established our presence in the Netherlands, Greece and Belgium and the team of teachers is still growing.
Our Team

Sofia Karfi
As a dedicated educator with 17 years of teaching experience, I specialize in helping students achieve remarkable progress in short timeframes — consistently reaching high CEFR levels.
I’m the creator of the F.A.S.T. method, a results-driven approach that blends modern pedagogical strategies with custom digital materials, designed to truly engage and empower learners.
My focus is on motivating students and supporting them to their fullest potential, by creating a learning environment that is structured, inclusive, and inspiring.
I believe that we can do everything that we set our mind to.

Stella Papadimitriou
Continuing education for professional competence or just for self-fulfillment is everyone's right. It is not that educational opportunities have been lacking but people craving for lifelong education need to overcome limitations. Stella has seen people quit working on their goal of learning a new language because of the time-consuming and arduous traditional teaching methods.
With the F.A.S.T. method I help everyone discover or rediscover the motivation they need to reach their potential.

Sani Deligiorgi
Sani holds a KnowCrunch Professional Diploma in Digital & Social Media. She is working side by side with Sofia Karfi, going through all sorts of digital necessities and facilitating good operations in Language and Motivation. She also helps students get on board with the language courses providing information and step by step services.
It's an honour to work with amazing people and learn new things! I am in the frontline welcoming new students and that keeps me motivated.

Anneta Geels Papadopoulou
Being a teacher at Language and Motivation is a wonderful experience. You meet new people and you also work with a great team!

Stavroula Kolia
Having studied German Language and Literature in Athens but also in Cologne, in Germany, Stavroula knows exactly what struggles expats can face with the German Language. She has helped many of them reach their goals and is passionate about finding new ways in order to facilitate the life they want to live in a new place.
What if we could all embrace the ability of learning anything we want and grow? The F.A.S.T. method can make it happen with language learning!

Frans Reijnen
"The F.A.S.T. method is like beginning a journey with your teacher close to you. Learning by doing is very motivating, especially when it leads to better communication in daily life."

Maylu Kuyper
'The F.A.S.T. method gives you the key to connect to the language in a way that is very natural, which makes me even more enthusiastic to work together to achieve your desired level in Dutch.'

Julia Wrinkler
Julia considers herself lucky to have grown up in different countries. Learning languages and experiencing different cultures influenced her decision to work with languages professionally. She holds a Master's degree in Translation and has been working as a translator and language tutor for many years. In her experience, knowing the language allows you to get to know other cultures on a different level and helps you to feel at home.
The best part of knowing another language is being able to connect with other people and cultures. The F.A.S.T. method helps you achieve this through its active approach.

Doriane Nevers
Doriane has discovered her passion for languages very early and started her professional career as a medical translator. Her dynamic teaching methods and cultural insights promise an immersive and enjoyable learning experience. Let's embark on a journey to master French with her and join her in unlocking the beauty of this language, where every lesson is a step towards fluency and cultural enrichment!
The F.A.S.T. method is the best learning method as it is perfectly tailored to your needs.

Andre Heuzer
Sharing knowledge and experience has always motivated Andre. As a teacher, as a journalist and as a writer. Dutch is his mother tongue, but living outside the Netherlands now it is clear to him how important it is to learn the language to blend into local society.
Learning a language should not be an endless list of grammar rules in funny sentences, but should focus on communicating with people around you. The F.A.S.T. method makes that possible, and makes learning new languages both easy and fun.

Romina Celis
Romina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and has over 10 years of teaching experience in Belgium, specializing in diverse classrooms where Dutch was often a second or third language. For the past 3 years, she has been teaching Dutch online to adults and children, focusing on personalized lessons tailored to individual needs.
I love witnessing students' progress and seeing their confidence grow as they realize how much they’ve improved.

Kris Van Vlierden
Kris is an experienced teacher who combines structure with motivation to help expats grow in confidence as they learn Dutch. Originally a mathematics teacher, he now focuses on Dutch language instruction, using the F.A.S.T. method to guide learners toward real-life communication goals.
Being a traveler, his favourite quote is:
He brings this belief into every lesson, helping students connect more deeply with life in the Netherlands.“You will never feel a culture if you don't speak the language.”

Sophia Bei
Sophia has been teaching Dutch since 2017. She has a bachelor’s degree in Modern Greek Language & Literature, having studied both in Amsterdam and Athens. She has helped students from all over the world to reach their goals, through both private and group lessons. Always with lots of joy - not only wanting to teach the students, but to learn from them as well.
“The F.A.S.T. method opens new doors - to people, places, and possibilities you never imagined. Every new language you learn builds your confidence and breaks down the walls to endless opportunities.”

George Tyrer
Raised bilingual and having lived in several countries, George has learned the importance of connecting with cultures through language. By teaching not only languages, but also the way to learn them, he helps students achieve their language goals through a fun, immersive and guided learning experience.
"By applying the F.A.S.T. method, we are not only able to reduce the time needed to achieve each level, but also to strengthen the all-important speaking capacity of the learner. This allows the student to begin using the language in everyday life from an early stage."
