Course Information
- All lessons take place online, using a video communication application.
- It is advised to follow the suggested hours of self-study per week or per lesson in order to reach your goal level.
- Guidance on how to study efficiently is provided in the beginning and during the course
- We host monthly 30min feedback calls to ensure your progress.
- The teacher uploads the educational material of the week within 24 hours after the end of the lesson.
The main tasks of the LM teacher
- Have a language learning strategy.
- Provide direction, lessons and educational material, according to the principles of the F.A.S.T. method, created by LM Language and Motivation.
- Correct the homework of students based on provided educational material.
Teaching hours
- The 3-month course consists of 18hrs divided into 1.5hrs lessons unless otherwise stated.
- The 6-month course consists of 36hrs divided into 1.5hrs lessons unless otherwise stated.
- Each month corresponds to 4 weeks of lessons.
Lesson Cancellation / Rescheduling
Individual lessons: Any cancellation or change in the time or the date of a lesson, needs to happen 24hrs prior to the scheduled lesson. If not, then the lesson is considered missed and therefore charged. You need to reach out to your teacher, they are in charge of the scheduled lesson. Please take into account that rescheduling is best if it does not exceed two times per month. If a rescheduling or cancellation takes place, please make sure to confirm the date and time of the next lesson.
Group lessons: When one student of a group has informed the teacher and the other student(s) on time (24hrs prior to the scheduled lesson), regarding a cancellation, then it needs to be taken into account and the lesson to be moved to the next possible date. Each student can cancel or reschedule a lesson up to two times in the 3-month course. In case one of the students does not appear or cancels at the last minute (less than 24hrs) and the other student attends the lesson then it will be charged as usual and no extra private lesson will be provided to the student who missed the lesson. In case both students do not appear or cancel at the last minute (less than 24hrs) the lesson is charged and counted.
When the first lesson is scheduled, it’s a good practice to assign dates to as many lessons as possible. If a rescheduling or cancellation takes place, please make sure to confirm the date and time of the next lesson.
All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made in writing, via email to the corresponding teachers.
Course completion according to your course package
- The 3-month-course needs to be completed -including any cancellations, delays or vacations- within 4 months after the date of the first lesson.
- The 6-month-course needs to be completed -including any cancellations, delays or vacations- within 8 months after the date of the first lesson.
- The month needs to be completed -including any cancellations, delays or vacations- within 5 weeks after the date of the first lesson.
- If there are reasons that force the student to ask for a pause, they can reach out to sani.deligiorgi@languageandmotivation.com to freeze their course.
- The teacher and student(s) are responsible for informing each other of possible holiday breaks.
- If a lesson is missed due to the absence of the teacher, then the course completion date is extended accordingly.
Freezing your course
- A student can freeze their course once per course package, for a minimum of 1 month and up to 6 months. For group lessons there is no possibility to freeze the course, unless all group members agree.
- The student has the responsibility to inform Language and Motivation (via email: info@languageandmotivation.com) two weeks before the preferred freezing date.
- The freezing time starts two weeks after the request was sent.
- When the student freezes their course, the lesson spot with the assigned teacher is released and when they unfreeze we make the arrangements again, according to the teacher’s availability.
- If the student does not unfreeze their course by the end of 6 months, the course is considered completed regardless if there are available lessons.
Payment Terms
Fee deposit
In order to complete registration, the lessons fee needs to be paid before the first lesson.
For monthly payments, a new invoice is issued every 4 weeks of lessons.
Educational Material
The educational material cost is paid upon registration.
In case that the student decides to cancel the course they have the right to receive the educational material that forms their paid package, upon request (email: info@languageandmotivation.com). They will receive it in their space which will be online up to four weeks after the last lesson.
Refund
All payments are non-refundable.
If a student wants to cancel the enrollment up to 24hrs from the scheduled first lesson, the student will be refunded 80% of the enrollment fee. The student is to send the request for refund to LM Language and Motivation administration via email at info@languageandmotivation.com. Any refund takes place within four weeks from the request.

Intellectual Property Rights
All materials of LM Language and Motivation, including content, text, images, software, audio and video files, documentation remain at all time property of LM Language and Motivation or its suppliers. You may not post, distribute, use for commercial purposes, or reproduce, in any way, any materials without the prior written consent of LM Language and Motivation.
Privacy and Security Policy
Any personal or other information regarding enrolled students, collected by LM Language and Motivation directly, or by collaborating platforms, connected to LM Language and Motivation, is subject to our Privacy Policy.
